Hi Dallas Chapter!
Our combined meeting with Ft Worth is coming up this Tuesday, the 16th beginning at 7pm via Zoom. I'll be presenting a technical on mock tuning exams. It will be focused on CyberTuner, but much of it translates over to the other ETDs. This will be a condensed version of my SCRC class in March. We'll go over a brief overview of the exam itself, setting up the piano and device, we’ll do some troubleshooting of the midrange using the Aural Tutor function of iRCT, and then chick out the top octave — exam 2:1 octaves vs normal/P12 (it’s a significant cents difference!) and tips on how to tune/adjust that top octave. This class is for EVERYONE - whether you are prepping for your own exams or want to be able to help provide a mock exam for someone else.
You’ll want to have the original sound turned ON so that you can hear the piano. For information on how to do that, please visit the following Zoom help pages:

Zoom info for the meeting was sent via email.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
