The next Channel 88 Broadcast will be on May 28 at 7:00 PM Central Time. Below is an itinerary for the presentation, along with a class description, and presenter's biography. The Piano in Slo-Mo
We'll look at high speed video of grand and upright pianos, recorded at up to 10,000 frames per second. The videos include hammers hitting strings, strings vibrating, action parts in action, dampers damping, and movement of the keys. There will also be some charts and graphs to help interpret what is in the videos.

Scott Murphy Bio:
After a career as an engineer and software developer, Scott Murphy began studying piano technology in 2015 and became a full time piano tech in 2019. He works at the Juilliard School in New York City.
We’ll have a relaxed, professional environment with time to connect before and after the session. All technicians welcome!
